A Guide to Ordering Catalytic Heaters from Our Calgary Facility

At Reding Instruments in Calgary, we want to allow for the most efficient experience possible. So when you order your catalytic heaters from us, please specify:

  • Fuel requirements – natural gas, liquid propane, or butane gas (alternate fuel requirements by special order).
  • Voltage – select available voltage from Product Specification Sheet.
  • Heater Size
  • Accessories required
  • Special equipment needs – please contact Reding Instruments directly.

Please Note:

  • CSA approved heaters are for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Group D locations.
  • Heaters are designed and orificed to operate on a standard fuel inlet pressure of 31/2” W.C. N.G. or 11” W.C. for L.P. (propane) and butane gas. Other pressures are optional.
  • Canadian Standards Association model heaters are approved for use in Class I -Division 1 and 2 - Group D locations, and are equipped with a thermocouple, safety shut-off valve, explosion proof junction box, appliance type regulator and manual shut-off valve.

Terms
Terms are net 30 days from date of invoice. Reding Instruments accepts Visa and MasterCard. A service charge of 2% per month on the unpaid balance will be added to all past due bills where authorized by law.

Freight
F.O.B. point on all shipments is Reding Factory, Calgary, Alberta unless otherwise specified.


Returns

Returned merchandise will not be accepted for credit, repair, or replacement without prior approval. Merchandise returned to Reding Instruments without authorization may be subject to refusal. Incoming transportation charges must be prepaid on all returned merchandise.

Warranty

Equipment Components and Accessories
All equipment components and accessories sold through Reding Instruments will be guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Repairs within this warranty will be made without charge if transportation costs are prepaid to the Reding Factory in Calgary, Alberta.


In the event of a claim on this warranty, the seller may exercise the option to repair or replace the heater. This warranty is void if the failure of the catalyst is caused by tampering, abuse, unauthorized alterations or repairs, negligence, accident, improper installation, improper operation, improper fuel (LP fuel must be grade HD-5 or better-natural gas must be pipeline quality as normally supplied by regulated gas distribution companies), use under abnormal conditions of temperature, moisture, dirt or corrosion, or use with corrosive materials including but not limited to lead, arsenic, hydrogen sulfide, lubricants, and silicones.

Catalytic Pads
A two-year warranty issued by Reding Instruments is issued in connection with Bruest Catalytic Pads. This warranty shall provide benefits only to the original purchaser. This warranty applies only to the heater pads and is valid for two years from the date of purchase.


Returns
